JAIME CARY - Sales Associate

Jaime went on her first river trip when she was eleven years old. On Gates of Ladore she fell in love with rivers and wilderness. She guided on the Animas River in Colorado, the Salt River in Arizona, and the Nenana River in Alaska. Working in the outdoors she quickly learned how important our wild places are, and how much they are in need of protection. She has worked to educate people about these places, and has traveled extensively to see them before they are gone. She has recently traveled to Uganda to paddle the White Nile before the Isimba Dam goes online and floods a large portion of the river.

The winter is also extremely important to her. She has been skiing since the age of three and has worked in the ski industry for 6 years. She loves boating, hiking, skiing, and paddling and lives in West Seattle.

MAGGIE STOEGBAUER - Sales Associate

Maggie has been involved in the ski industry since she was 15, volunteering with the Alpental Leadership Program. Since leaving that program she has been teaching kids to ski at Alpental and now oversees their Leadership Program. She is attending Bellevue College, and planning to transfer to a university soon and majoring in Environmental Sciences. Maggie grew up in Arizona, hiking, backpacking and climbing in the desert. Moving to the Pacific Northwest has opened new doors and experiences. Maggie is currently training to be a kayak guide at Alki Kayak Tours and looking forward to all of the adventures to come.
