The 2018 Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour is coming to Seattle this Spring! Join Mountain to Sound Outfitters & Alki Kayak Tours on April 20th to celebrate the beginning of Spring, paddling season and the inspirational waterways of the world! We will be showcasing films that highlight sea kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and water safety with a variety of gear raffles between each film!
Prior to the Paddling Film Festival, Kara and Greg Whittaker will be presenting their talk on Watchable Wildlife in the Salish Sea. Kara and Greg are owners of Alki Kayak Tours and have presented this talk since 2007 at various venue. The slideshow highlights the native species in the Salish Sea, the ease of viewing them while paddling, as well as current threats and what you can do as a paddler to mitigate your intrusion in their world.
