Seascape 3 Triple (3 person) Sea Kayak is 22.5 feet long, yellow top, white bottom. Touring, expedition and sea life viewing worthy sea kayak. Legendary speed and ocean stability!Triple Sea Kayaks are hard to find. And none are better than the proven quality of the Seascape 3. This craft is a favorite of outfitters who equip saltwater whale watching, tours, camping trips, and expeditions. This is because the kayak is easy to maneuver, markedly stable, and of strong durable construction.
Seascape 3 are fast due to their well designed hull shape and long length. However their greater width and weight over a single kayak adds marked water stability. Being 22.5' long also enables paddlers to not have to synchronize paddles when used as a double kayak and also a huge amount of heavy gear to be taken for extended trips (weight that which further stabilizes the kayak while paddling).
We enjoyed the Seascape3 because both of us are together on the water which is safer for us and we don't have to synchronize our strokes. And if desired a large dog or non paddling guest can be seated in the middle seat. However with three synchronized paddlers the kayak is a beast. It's speed and distance capability of this flexible workhorse are amazing.
Sea Kayaking groups are thrilled when they have a triple kayak in their group. This is because extra gear can be taken. And they can carry a third kayaker if someone becomes sick or disabled.
Three cockpit travel covers and underdeck stowable belly trolley wheelcart are included (so kayak can be rolled with one hand by the owner). 2 paddles are also included.
We currently store this Seacape 3 on central Puget Sound near Seattle in a locked garage at a Boat Marina. This way we can just roll it right from there to the beach and spend some fun hours on the water. The Buyer could option to continue the storage (currently) $48 monthly lease if they wish to do so.
